Every two years, the Environmental Water Resources Group (EWRG) hosts the Sustainable Stormwater Symposium in Portland, Oregon. The event connects attendees with one another and with current stormwater topics. The conference closes with a popular Bike Tour of local stormwater efforts.

Cynthia Annett, PhD
Research Associate Professor
Center for Hazardous Substance Research
Kansas State University
Dr. Cynthia Annett is a co-lead on ASTM Draft Standard Guide for Reducing Inland Flood Risk using Nature-based Solutions and ASTM E3460 Standard Guide for Climate and Community Mapping.
Dr. Annett's talk will provide an international perspective on natural and nature-based solutions for inland flood risk reduction with lessons for an uncertain future.

Carla Milesi
University of Washington in Tacoma
Carla Milesi is the Emerging Stormwater Technologies Coordinator at the Center for Urban Waters at the University of Washington in Tacoma and partners with the Department of Ecology on the evolution of Technology Assessment Protocol (TAPE) program.
Carla's talk is titled "TAPE Beyond 20 – Raising the Bar for Stormwater Treatment."
